Community of Practice (COP)
A Community of Practice (CoP) is defined as "a group of people who share a concern, a set of problems, or a passion about a topic, and who deepen their knowledge and expertise by interacting on an ongoing basis" (CDC)
The Community of Practice (CoP) was developed through a partnership with IMPACT WV and the WV Home Visiting Program to help participants exchange technical information and share experiences about Non-Traditional Families related to serving clients currently experiencing or who have past experiences with substance use and neonatal abstinence syndrome (NAS).
Information from the CoP presentations was used to develop dissemination products to share with providers’ co-workers, families, and the community. Summary Sheets are located on the Training Archives page.
