Positive Behavior Support for Parents II

Positive Behavior Support for Parents II provides parents, grandparents, foster parents, and caregivers with a more in-depth look at the positive parenting model, strategies for creating structure in the home, how to de-escalate a child in crisis and build resiliency. Participants will receive a certificate upon completing the coursework.
Course Objectives:
- Discover the four components of positive parenting.
- How to implement structure in the home and why it’s an important part of positive behavior support.
- Learn the three R’s of de-escalation: Regulate, Relate, Reason and coping strategies for your child.
- What is resiliency and how does it help you and your child?
