PBS for Parents

Positive behavior support is an evidence based, person centered, positive, and proactive approach to addressing undesirable behaviors. This course will provide the opportunity to identify the ABC’s of behavior, learn strategies for teaching replacement behaviors, and define coping methods to improve your child’s quality of life.
Course Objectives:
- Gain understanding in strength-based teaching
- Identify functions of behavior
- Learn ways to teach replacement behaviors
- Identify ways to improve child’s quality of life
